Al-Bakhet Group
An Iraqi family group in the automotive trade for nearly two decades — Changan's exclusive authorised distributor in Iraq through Luluat Al-Bakhet.
This group began from a single conviction: the car we sell is not the end of a relationship — it is the beginning of one.
For close to two decades we have worked in the Iraqi market under conditions that were rarely easy, distributing nearly a quarter of a million vehicles across the governorates. What we learned is that a customer's trust is not bought with an advertising campaign; it is built one genuine part at a time, one service appointment kept, one warranty honoured exactly as written.
When we took on the exclusive CHANGAN agency in Iraq, we did not treat it as a commercial privilege to be harvested, but as a responsibility — to a global manufacturer, and to an Iraqi customer who deserves the same standard offered in any other market. From that understanding came the largest car showroom in Iraq — and the largest CHANGAN showroom in the Middle East — the country's largest automotive service centre with fifty lifts, and a network reaching seventeen locations.
Yet what I take most pride in is not the facilities but the people. More than five hundred colleagues now work under the group's umbrella, among them over a hundred service technicians and engineers. They are our real capital, and their training and development is a standing commitment, not a budget line.
We look toward a period in which electric and hybrid vehicles expand across Iraq, and we are working to be ready for it — in infrastructure and in people — before it arrives rather than after. We move forward in partnership with national banks and institutions that share the same view: that what is built in this country should be built to last.
— Sheikh Fadhil Dhahi Al-Shammari، Chairman of the Board

The largest car showroom in Iraq — and Changan's largest in the Middle East.
Founded in Baghdad in 2016, it is the official importer, distributor and after-sales provider for Changan in Iraq — part of Al-Bakhet Group, which has delivered around a quarter of a million cars in Iraq over two decades.
Three countries. One foundation of trust.
Al-Bakhet Group is an Iraqi family group of companies in general trade and commercial agencies, focused on multi-brand vehicle distribution and genuine spare parts, operating from three bases: Baghdad, the Zarqa Free Zone in Jordan, and Ras Al Khor in Dubai.
The group began operating in the Iraqi market before its current companies were incorporated, and was among the first to open the market to Kia. Over close to two decades it has distributed nearly a quarter of a million vehicles across Iraq.

To provide vehicles and after-sales service to authorised-agency standards, through a nationwide network and supply bases in three countries, with bank-backed financing that puts ownership within reach of individuals and companies — supporting the national economy and creating jobs.
